If you’re going to attend one of our events in the Midlands, here’s some STI clinics and providers who’s proof we will accept
Free/NHS services & kits
- Umbrella Health
- SH:24
- FREE home test kits (link here). They only cover certain areas, so please check using their postcode checker. Also, they do have limited stocks available so you might need to try again a few days later.
- WiSH (Walsall)
- FREE home test kits (link here). They appear to only send out 2 kits within a 6 month period, so we recommend using these as a backstop to SH24, if they have a shortage
- Sandwell Sexual Health
- FreeTest.me
- SH:UK
Commercial/Private services & kits
- Test.me
- Home test kits (link here). Basic test £26, Full test £45
- Lloyds Pharmacy
- Home test kits (link here). Basic test £28, Full test £60
- Boots Online
- Home test kits (link here). Tests from £45. Separate HIV tests extra, which is disappointing and makes this a more expensive option. Nevertheless, a good service and quick turnaround as you’d expect from Boots.
- Randox Health
- Very comprehensive private home test kits (link here). £95 but offers 10 STI tests. very comprehensive.
- SuperDrug
- Wide variety of home test kits (link here). Similar to Boots, in that basic Chlamydia & Ghonnoreah tests are £42, with the HIV test and additional £39.
If you have any more services you’d like us to add here, please email us and let us know.
Lastly, you might find you’ll need to cycle providers a little to get a clean test every month. Lloyds for instance, wont test someone again within a 6 week period, and WISH only offer 2 kits per 6-month period.
For myself personally, I tend to interleave getting a test from SH24, and then a paid one from Lloyds, then back to SH24 for the next one.
